Just what I expected. Ridiculously high and glittery. I ordered the XL shoes and they were probably equivalent to a size 14, a little big for me (I wear a 13), so I had to be careful not to turn an ankle as they were a little loose. It takes a short while to get used to the very high heel, but then it was OK. Definitely these are not athletic shoes.
